About Us:

The Dana Center for the Humanities is a premier performing arts center on the campus of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. We are home to the nationally ranked, widely acclaimed humanities program, Portraits of Human Greatness, and the headquarters for the student theater group, the Anselmian Abbey Players.

Each year, our comprehensive offering of classical theatre, contemporary dance, concerts, and films attract visitors from throughout the region. Performances are intended to engage the imagination and delight audiences through the joy of creative expression.

We present a world of traditions on stage as international performances are both traditional and innovative programs from contemporary Indian dance to Piedmont blues to Russian classical music.

Our season is carefully selected to please audiences of all ages while complementing the college's distinctive liberal arts education. Everything in our humanities program converges on the Dana Center stage: politics, philosophy, history, and the arts. And programming geared to younger audiences are performed at special matinee times or off-site in an effort to bring art into the community.

By bringing performances from such a diverse array of countries and traditions we connect with the human experience across cultures in a way that is certain to entertain and enlighten.

We are proud and pleased that Saint Anselm College is a place where artistic expression takes center stage. We invite you to be part of this unparalleled experience.
