Michael Cohn, M.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health and specializes in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder disorders.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Cohn served as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in upper extremity surgery at the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County.
Dr. Cohn earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. He remained at NYU to complete a fellowship in surgery of the hand and upper extremity, where he was elected chief fellow.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Cohn has published work in multiple medical journals including Journal of Hand Surgery and Bulletin of the Hospital for Joint Diseases. He is a member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Medical Expert.
Dr. Cohn’s passion for orthopedic surgery stems from his desire to help patients recover from injuries and return to the activities they love as quickly as possible. He strives to get to know his patients and understand their goals in order to tailor a treatment plan that is best for their individual needs.
In his free time, Dr. Cohn enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, staying active, traveling and playing golf.
