Mark A. Brockman, Jr., M.D., earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville, completing his pediatric residency at Norton Children’s Hospital. Dr. Brockman is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and its Kentucky chapter, the Kentucky Medical Association and the Greater Louisville Medical Society. Dr. Brockman works together with families for optimal care. He is a Louisville native and third generation physician to be practicing in the south end of Louisville. He enjoys hunting, fishing and raising chickens and bees. Norton Children’s pediatricians offer care just for kids and teens. Your child needs routine health checks at every age. Our pediatricians can screen for things such as behavioral concerns, delayed growth and development, high blood pressure and oral health. We can also help with breastfeeding, child-proofing concerns, safe sleeping methods and potty training tips. We have a food pantry located on site. Our providers can assist with food security and offer food on-site to those who need it; Lactation counseling; car seat checks; New patients can be seen within 24 hours, and same-day sick appointments, along with weekday evening hours are available for busy parents
