History:

Established as Eagle Ridge Nursery in 1983, our company came from humble beginnings. The nursery and small tree plantation gave way to a part time landscaping company. Using a forestry degree from the U of M, an old Ford pickup and a John Deere tractor, the vision started. Little did I know that it would continue to grow through the decades.

My father and I bought the current business site together in 1987, and started planting trees the following season. While struggling through the drought of 1988, persistance prevailed and the trees started to grow.

My sons became interested in the business in the later part of the 90's. Fueled by their youth and enthusiasm for business, they came into the company after graduating college. Each has found a niche within the company using thier respective degrees and have contributed to the growth of our company. The landscape design/build division converged with the tree farm and nursery, and necessitated a building addition of office space and a working shop in 2002.

Since then we have taken pride in the fact that we are one of the few truly family owned businesses in the green industry serving the Twin Cities Metro area. Also, the greater Hudson area is a wonderful place to live, and as I have found, start a business. Our employees are our biggest asset, and our team offers years of knowledge in everything from tree installation to paver patios, perennials to water features.
