These are confusing times for many of us.  It's harder than ever to know what the future holds for our town and our country.

But one thing is clear; the future belongs to those who plan for it.  And the first step on our journey to a better tomorrow is to understand exactly where we stand today. That's the motivation behind Warren Expressed, a project designed to give you a voice in determining Warren's future.

Warren Expressed - WE for short - makes it easy for you to express what you think of Warren as a place to live, raise a family, work or go to school; how you rate the services available to you and how you feel about the future of our community.

We have an Internet survey already in place which will only take five minutes to complete. No log-in or password is required and your responses will be anonymous. Just go to the WE home page and click on "Take the Survey." 

Our goals are to get 5000 responses from Warren residents by mid-September and then to share the results with the entire community. We look forward to an enthusiastic conversation about what the results mean and how we should respond to them.

But Warren Expressed is more than a survey. It's a forum where you and your friends and neighbors can express your likes, dislikes and hopes for how Warren will evolve. If, after completing the survey, you would like to share your thoughts on these issues in more detail, please volunteer to be interviewed for our blog by writing to us at[email protected].

We all know that Warren is a very different community today than it was in 1950 or 1970. But what will Warren be like in 2020 or 2030? How will we get there, and how will we make Warren the best community it can be? Those are the important questions now. Our future is up to us - and with an accurate picture of the present our chances for success will be that much better.
