We are offering an opportunity for crafters and anyone else to market their merchandise and a new destination for shoppers. The location is great - with easy access in the middle of Somers Ct just in time for the holiday season.
We even want gently used items like vases, centerpieces and decorations. We are looking for pine cones, birch logs, pine boughs, old ornaments old wreaths, old Christmas trees and anything else we can use to create unique upcycled holiday decor. Donations will be tax deductable through my nonprofit Pionoeer Valley Artspace.
We are on track to be open around Nov 15-20th which will be perfect timing for when people are preparing for their holiday decorating or shopping for unique items for all the special people on their gift lists.
We are also have an artists work room in a large section of the space dedicated to any craft you wish to learn. We will have bisque ceramic pieces unpainted and painted, slip casting with 1000+ molds available and hand build pottery in one section of the shop.
One goal for this venture is to provide a seasonal market for local arts and crafts. Another goal is to re-use as many other pieces of discarded and unwanted decorations and recreate them with a modern updated twist.
Applications will be available to sign up for classes or add your New, Used, Reused or Upcycled Items to the shop for sale. We are also providing several commission structures to allow a greater number of crafters to participate which you can access on the facebook page below.
