The campground was started by a couple in the early 70's who at that time belonged to a camping club. The members of that club helped to develop it. Since then it has grown to what it is today. We are rustic with lots of trees and shade. We are on city water and our sites are gravel. On April 27, 2011 a tornado destroyed many of our trees, but we still have lots of shade.
