Located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Highland Park, IL since 1935, the NSYC has been an affordable membership organization for Sailors, Kayakers, Power Boaters, Stand Up Paddle/SUP and fun social events. As a volunteer organization, we are open to residents of all communities. Offering Youth & Adult Sailing, Racing Workshops, weekly Sail Racing, a Summer Regatta, Kayak Courses, Full Moon Paddles, Social Events and waterfront family activities. Beginning & Skill level classes are provided by our US Sailing & ACA Certified Instructors. Clubhouse facilities includes a beach front outdoor deck, fire pit, grills, inside full kitchen, lounge, private bathing facilities, locker rentals, TV, Wi-Fi access and much more! NSYC members are a warm and welcoming group of people who share a love of our beautiful lakefront in a relaxing environment.

NSYC has a large fleet of Sunfish, Club 420 Sailboats, Recreational Touring & Sea Kayaks, and SUPS exclusively for member use. New members are always welcome so please check out our Membership tab, or visit us at 21 Park Ave. Weekend afternoons are the best time to visit us at the beach.
