The Human Rights Campaign is the nation's largest civil rights organizationworking to achieve equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual & transgender Americans with a grassroots force of over 725,000 members!

HRC envisions an America where gay, lesbian, bisexual & transgender people are ensured equality and embraced as full members of the American family at home, at work and in every community.

We have an active membership in the Palm Springs area with over 100 Federal Club memberships.  Federal Club members donate $1200 or more each year to HRC's critical work in Washington, DC and in cities around the country. 

As of August, 2008...HRC has raised over $2 million to fight Proposition 8 in California which would strip marriage rights for the GLBT community!  HRC believes this is one of the most important events of our community's history!
