Grapevine Opry

300 South Main Street
817-481-8733

Texas' Grapevine Opry may be small compared to the big halls and honky tonks which dominate the industry, but the performances are HUGE considering the fact that only the best up-and-coming talent from around the state and beyond consistently bask in the spotlight. Showcasing the finest contemporary and classic country music, special theme shows throughout the year sprinkle in '50's rock 'n' roll, Texas and Western swing, '30's & '40's big band tunes, bluegrass and country Christian and Southern gospel. Of course, December is filled with Christmas shows of every description.

After an initial lifespan from the mid-70's through the early 80's, the landmark venue was reincarnated in 1987 literally "from the ashes" and November 14, 2010 marks the twenty-third anniversary of this resurrection. With performances most Saturdays and fourth-Friday gospel shows, through the years audiences have been thrilled by the likes of Willie Nelson, the Judds, Jimmy Dean, LeAnn Rimes, Keith Anderson, Miranda Lambert and Richie McDonald (formerly of Lonestar).
