About Grace Baptist Church:

Grace Baptist Church was chartered in 1961 and Pastor Settle became the first pastor and led the church to build the original sanctuary. In the late 60’s Pastor Frost was called to lead the church and in the early 70’s a two story educational wing was built. It is now used for a school and Spanish chapel. Pastor Porter led the church for two years in the late 70’s just before Pastor Humphries was called to Miami. In the late 80’s Pastor Crabb led the church to revive the bus ministry and build a day school building along with a gymnasium. In the mid 90’s Pastor Horne was called to become the pastor and he led the church until 2003. In October of the same year Pastor Mulligan accepted the call to Miami and became the pastor of Grace Baptist Church. The following January, Pastor Mulligan and his family moved to Miami. The church has seen steady growth and has been given a vision of reaching all of Miami-Dade County and having an impact on all of south Florida. This will be accomplished by continuing to expand our growing bus ministry, by training disciples of Christ through Sunday School, Miami Baptist College and Grace Baptist Academy. George Muhler once said, “It has yet to be seen what one man can do who is totally committed to God.
