I taught weaving and a variety of other courses in the arts for 26 years at Emma Willard School in Troy, NY. In the mid-1980's the school began sending me to Haystack Mountain School of Crafts for workshops every summer. Living in Maine during the summers with the family evolved into building a place and totally moving to the area in the summer of 2002. Although I had been a working artist with numerous shows while teaching at EWS, I decided to open my own business when we moved. The focus of my work is the production of distinctive hand wovens for the body and home on 3 looms with a sprinkling of workshops that promote varous textile techniques.
