Dakota Winds Golf Course is a 27-hole reversible course at Dakota Magic Casino & Resort. Opened in 2004, it has become one of the Dakota's best courses. At 165 acres, it measures 6,950 yards from the back tees and 5,200 yards from the front tees.
The course was designed by renowned golf course architect, Joel Goldstrand. He's known for designing unique and individual golf courses in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and the Dakotas. The course features four different grasses from long prairie grass wild flowers, fescue rough, and blue-grass fairway tees, to natural bent grass greens. The gently rolling landscape is dotted with ponds and creeks to challenge golfers and add beauty. The course is reversible. Golfers can play 18 holes one day and the next day play a different layout on the reversible back nine. The fairways are wide and placed for variety to provide the ultimate golfing experience.
