Together with Ypsilanti Middle School, 826michigan, a nonprofit writing and tutoring center in Washtenaw County, runs an after-school tutoring program for YMS 7th and 8th grade students. We are always looking for caring, motivated individuals to serve as tutors. Tutoring happens Mondays-Thursdays from 2:30-5:00pm at YMS during the school year. As a tutor, you would help students complete their homework assignments, and give them the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun creative writing activities. Tutors at YMS get the opportunity to be an important part of the dynamic learning environment at YMS and to support their local middle school.
