About the Show: Based on the beloved Disney animated film, and featuring a jazzy, upbeat score, Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS is a non-stop thrill ride of feline fun, complete with unbelievable twists and turns.

In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat, and her three little kittens. Laughs and adventure ensue as the greedy, bumbling butler pulls off the ultimate catnap caper. Now it's up to the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O'Malley, and his band of swingin' jazz cats to save the day.

About our Advanced Acting Apple Shakes Program: This class is a non-musical class introducing the works of William Shakespeare to middle and high school aged participants (AGES 11 - 18). The class encourages young artists' development by teaching advanced acting techniques (emotional connection, stage combat, stage romance, and advanced memorization) as well as is an extended program to promote teamwork and performance quality. Participants learn the historical context and performance practices of Elizabethan actors as well as the rehearsal process of the time. Participants are cast in roles after in-class auditions to begin the traditional “rehearsal” process while using games as skill builders and theatrical workshops to promote artistic growth. Rehearsed for a long period of time to encourage full textural understanding, performance confidence and polish, this is an excellent class for drama hungry youth.

ABOUT THE SHOW: Consider yourself at home with Oliver! JR., the Broadway Junior version of Lionel Bart's classic musical based on Charles Dickens' novel, Oliver Twist. The Tony and Olivier Award-winning show is one of the few musicals to win an Academy Award for Best Picture and is widely hailed as a true theatrical masterpiece by actors and audience members alike.

The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance amongst a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft that he did not commit, the benevolent victim, Mr. Brownlow takes him in. Fearing the safety of his hideout, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back, threatening Oliver’s chances of discovering the true love of a family.
