NCGOP Statement on NC State Board of Elections Meeting Actions

Government and Politics

December 11, 2024

RALEIGH - On December 11, 2024, the North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) issued the following statement following the NC State Board of Elections meeting on Wednesday, December 11:

"Unsurprisingly, the most partisan State Board of Elections in history has once again failed the people of North Carolina. The board’s continued efforts to engineer political outcomes for Democrats is shameful. We will review the board’s decision and reserve the right to any future actions to protect the integrity of our elections," said NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons.

As stated previously, these protests highlight specific irregularities and discrepancies in the handling and counting of ballots, raising concerns about adherence to established election laws.

These challenges are part of a lawful and transparent process designed to uphold voter confidence in the system.
