6:00 pm: An Elegant Southern Supper honoring Tom Franklin, Kim Cross and Tom Kelly. ($40, advance purchase required)Let's celebrate and toast our award winners!Enjoy a relaxed time with our visiting authors and other festivalgoers and sample an elegant spread of Southern foods, wine and music. This year's music will be Diamond Reo 75, a popular south Alabama band performing a unique mix of covers and original music. The Shop at 66 Event Center is located at 66 S. Mt. 10:00 am:  Readings from Let's Eat Snails by children's book author Barbara Barcellona Smith  at the Monroe County Public Library, 121 Pineville Rd., near the northeast corner of the square.

12:15 – 1:45 pm:  A Southern Lunch with Kelsey Barnard Clark at The Shop at 66Luncheon ($30, advance purchase required)following the presentation by chef and cookbook author  Kelsey Barnard Clark, a 2024 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: South.  Enjoy a bountiful Southern meal.
