FREEHOLD, NJ - Think you can take on The Beast?  Face the Pharaoh’s Fury? Or brave the Seven Seas?  Find out by heading to the Monmouth County Fair and checking out rides provided by Campy’s Blue Star Amusements!  Held Wednesday-Sunday, July 24-28, at East Freehold Showgrounds, Kozloski Road, Freehold, this annual tradition is presented by the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners in cooperation with the Monmouth County Park System and the Monmouth County 4-H Association.

Other thrilling rides include the Gravitron, Drop Tower and Round Up. There will also be plenty of timeless favorites - the Tilt-a-Whirl, Ferris Wheel and Carousel – as well as a separate Kiddie Area.  Highlights there include the Teacups, Speedway and Dragon Wagon.  In total, the Fair will feature over 25 rides. Rides require wristbands. Riders can load credits onto their wristband or purchase a one-day unlimited rides option for $25* on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; and $30* on Friday and Saturday. (*Convenience fee may apply.)  Rides are weather permitting. Please note that kiddie rides require riders to be at least 36” tall; other rides have additional height requirements.

Besides the rides, the Fair also features live music, 4-H shows & exhibits, opening night fireworks (weather permitting), the Firefighters Competition, a pie-eating contest, and more. Highlights include acts such as Wallenda Productions Aerial Thrill Show, Butterfly Encounter, Bwana Jim Wildlife Show, Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy, Mutts Gone Nuts, Robinson’s Racing Pigs, and Tommie Turvey's Stunt Horses & Dogs as well as strolling entertainment, the Home & Garden Competition, food and games.
