PIERRE, S.D. - On December 31, 2024, Governor Kristi Noem ordered that flags be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol from sunrise until sunset on Monday, January 6, 2025, in honor of former state Supreme Court Justice Robert (Bob) Amundson. Justice Amundson served on the South Dakota Supreme Court from 1991 to 2002.

A funeral service for Justice Amundson will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 6, 2025, at First Lutheran Church 327 S. Dakota Avenue, Sioux Falls.
