David Mccormick’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Year Since He Launched His Campaign

Government and Politics

September 20, 2024

PENNSYLVANIA — It has been one year since Connecticut hedge fund CEO and mega-millionaire David McCormick has launched his second campaign for U.S. Senate.

In that time, McCormick’s disastrous record of lying about where he lives and where he grew up, prioritizing investments with China over Pennsylvania families, and his support for an anti-choice agenda have been exposed.

A Look Back on McCormick’s Year:

  • McCormick’s record of investing millions of dollars in China’s military and our foreign adversaries has remained in the spotlight
    • He increased investments in China by 108,000% as CEO of Bridgewater, including companies blacklisted by the U.S. government.
    • McCormick invested millions in blacklisted Chinese military companies, helping to prop up the Chinese military with advanced weapons and equipment, including fighter jets and aircraft carriers.
    • He has deep ties to the Saudi government’s sovereign wealth fund and even pressured his hedge fund to demonstrate “loyalty” to the Saudis after the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

See What Pennsylvanians Have Had to Say About McCormick’s Record:

  • Montgomery County Sheriff Sean Kilkenny: “By prioritizing his profits over hundreds of police officers, David McCormick has shown us exactly who he is willing to fight for – himself and his own bottom line.”
  • State Representative Jennifer O’Mara: “David McCormick’s record of supporting an abortion ban without exceptions for rape or incest and praising the leaked Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade as a ‘huge victory’ is appalling.”
