The City of San Luis announced today the appointment of Jenny Torres as Assistant City Manager.

Ms. Jenny Torres, former Economic Development Manager, enters as the Assistant City Manager officer with over twenty years of experience in government entities, nonprofit organizations, and for-profit agencies in both Arizona and California. Ms. Torres received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in Public Management from Northern Arizona University. Her experience and career emphasis attest to her expertise in financing, development, and management of public projects and business development.

“Ms. Torres has and will continue to be a valid asset to the City of San Luis,” stated Interim City Manager Ralph Velez. “I have no doubt Ms. Torres will continue to do great work for the City of San Luis,” he concluded.

“I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of the City team. I look forward to helping my community grow while continuing to deliver high level of city services to our residents,” said Ms. Torres.
