Pet of the Week
Momma West, 2, is the ultimate family dog . She was transported away from her hometown by helpers, who didn't realize that her family had little chance of finding her in Georgetown. Plus, she looked like a nursing mom or at least had recently been nursing .
True to her name, she wants to mother young puppies she meets. Momma is social in crowds, walks well on leash , is affectionate with humans, and gets along with other dogs. She is a true gem of a dog who will fit in well with almost any family!
To adopt Momma West, call 512-930-3592 or email [email protected]. Walk-ins are welcome during the shelter’s visiting hours.
Hours: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Fridays; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
