The 2023 Lost Dutchman Days will be “the fun place to be for all ages” on Feb. 24-26 in Apache Junction.

The celebration begins with the Lost Dutchman Marathon on Feb. 19 through Gold Canyon and ending at Prospector Park in Apache Junction. One of the most picturesque settings for a race, the marathon is in its 22nd year. Details can be found at https://www.lostdutchmanmarathon.org.

On Feb. 25, is the annual Lost Dutchman Days Parade. Join us at 9 a.m. in downtown Apache Junction for the annual event. Lots more about the parade at  https://www.ajchamber.com/58536-2/?fl_builder.

This 59th annual Lost Dutchman Days event has three days of professional rodeo action brought to you by the Grand Canyon Professional Rodeo Association, and a carnival that features more than 30 rides. What would any event be without plenty of food and vendor booths to browse as they have more than 100 setting up to keep the family busy. Admission is only $2. Parking is free.

The Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo committee partners up with various youth-serving organizations and sponsors to put on this event that entertains the entire family. Profits from this event are donated back to these youth organizations and other youth-serving programs of the Apache Junction Community, ensuring the opportunity to reach the ultimate goal of “Putting Smiles on Kid’s Faces.”

The Superstition Mountain Promotional Corporation and the Apache Junction Mounted Rangers are the moving forces behind this highly successful and popular hometown rodeo. With both organizations being completely made up of volunteers, this event has been growing and evolving since 1965 and 59 years later, they are proud to present their best year yet.

Kicking off the weekend festivities is the Beer & Brat Party on Feb. 23, at the Apache Junction Elks Lodge.
