5 Reasons to Live in Borrego Springs

SDGE Scheduled Power Outage

SDG&E crews are scheduled to finalize a critical pole replacement project in the Borrego Springs community. Customers can expect an overnight outage from 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, to 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7. For outage details and available resources, please visit SDGE.com/outages. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this critical work to help create a stronger, more resilient energy grid in Borrego Springs.

USDA Rural Home Disaster Repair Grant 

USDA is offering grant funding for low-income rural homeowners who experienced damage from the winter storms that occurred between December 27, 2022 and January 31, 2023. Use the Property Eligibility Map and the USDA Direct Income Limit Map to determine eligibility. The application will remain open until funds run out. For application questions, contact Patricia Coronado at [email protected]  or (760) 355-2208 Ext 109.
