Executive Director's Notes

By Fran?oise Rhodes

The Chamber is expanding our social media presence to TikTok thanks to Jennifer Sencion, a Borregan and San Diego State University student. Sencion recently started an internship at the Chamber for hospitality, marketing and social media. After one meeting with Sencion I knew it was a perfect fit, her ideas are bold and creative with a youthful eye of what Borrego has to offer for visitors of all ages. Sencion will be working on all of our platforms, however once the TikTok page starts featuring content the link will be in the Chamber Weekly.

TikTok can be controversial for some, however it is used by the majority of travel organizations and destinations, Borrego should not miss out on this worldwide opportunity. No businesses will be featured without permission; our main goal is for people around the world to see what makes Borrego Springs unique.

For non-member businesses, just a reminder that our all of social media platforms feature member only businesses, perhaps it’s time to join.

(used on branding irons) of past ranches in the area.

Can you name this street?

Rams Hill Golf Evolves

Rams Hill is announcing a two-year multi-million dollar Bermuda grass conversion to create consistent and sustainable playing conditions, expand to a year-round golf season and anchor the community of Borrego Springs as a leader in employment, infrastructure and sustainability -- all while building upon our reputation as one of California's premier golf destinations and an "America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Course" by Golf Digest.
