The 19th Annual Deep Creek Lake Art and Wine Festival, benefiting Hart for Animals and Garrett Lakes Arts Festival (GLAF), features beautifully handcrafted works by local and regional artisans, more than 200 wines to taste from Maryland and national wineries, a lounge to watch college football games and purchase beer on tap, a cigar bar, live entertainment, food, wine store, lodging packages and more, all set in the beautiful mountains of western Maryland.

Artists
Professional artists and craftsmen will display and sell their art, from handcrafted jewelry and wood carvings to oil paintings, and hand-painted furniture and accessories.

Food Artisans
Taste and purchase homemade products from local food artisans including Firefly Farms,  Yummy Crumbs, High Country Creamery, and more

Wine Tasting
National and regional wineries will offer samplings of a variety of 200 wines to satisfy even the most discriminating tastes. New Premium Wine Tasting is now Friday, September 10 from 5 – 8 PM. Tickets now available online Premium area is located in the Exhibit Hall: $35.75 for unlimited tasting. You can purchase the Friday night ticket separately or with the Saturday event. Wine Shop: Guests may purchase the Premium wines on Friday night and all wines at the festival’s retail store on Saturday (open until 7 p.m), with net proceeds donated to  HART/GLAF.

Guest Wine Pourers
Visitors who frequent the Deep Creek Lake area will have the opportunity to chat with locals who are elevated to a new status for the afternoon as they become the festival’s guest pourers. Past participants include State Senator George Edwards, Maryland Delegate Wendell Beitzel, and our county commissioners.

Food
Delicious sandwiches, cheeses, ice cream, salads and more will be available for sale throughout the day from the Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus, and Junior Women’s Civic Club.

Wine Shop
Guests may purchase the wines and beers at the festival’s retail store (open until 7 p.m), with net proceeds donated to the HART/GLAF.

Entertainment
Enjoy live music from local and regional musicians throughout the afternoon

Football Lounge
Don’t miss the college game of the week in our football lounge. Enjoy a cold beer on tap for sale from Mountain State Brewing Company and Short Story while watching some football

Cigar Bar
The Stogie Co., a boutique line of cigars produced in Esteli, Nicaragua,  is one of the few remaining factories making cigars with traditional Cuban triple caps. Enjoy these unique blends at the mobile cigar lounge, where you can purchase, sit and relax with a nice stogie.
