Featuring a 300 foot Slip 'N Slide and Family Fun and Festivities

The City of San Clemente is thrilled to announce a brand-new Independence Day celebration, "Stars, Stripes, & Slip 'N Slides,". This family-friendly event will kick off at 10:00 a.m. in downtown San Clemente at Avenida Rosa and Avenida Victoria and promises a day filled with entertainment, food and drinks, and fun activities for all ages. Join us for a day of fun and festivities as we celebrate Independence Day in true San Clemente style!

Entertainment Line-Up

The festivities will feature a dynamic lineup of local talent and entertainment:
10:30 AM: Hillbilly Crutch (Country/Bluegrass)
12:30 PM: Soul Kitchen (The Doors tribute band)

Activities

The event will feature numerous activities to keep attendees and patriotic revelers entertained throughout the day, including:
300-Foot San Clemente Slip 'N Slide (ages 8+ years)
17-Foot Water Slide (ages 2+ years)
Giant Inflatable Obstacle Course
Water Balloon Toss Competitions
Face painting and temporary tattoos
Laser Tag arena
Pop-a-shot basketball contest
Sidewalk chalk community art mural
Military Vehicle Display by Camp Pendleton

Food & Beverage

A variety of food trucks will be on-site to cater to all taste buds, including:

El Corazon (burgers, grilled chicken sandwich, BBQ pulled pork sandwich)
BittieBitez Mini Donuts
Cali Delights
Kona Ice
Tacos 4 Troops
The Los Molinos Brewery team will be on-site hosting a beer garden, offering a selection of their finest local craft beers. Proceeds from the beer garden will benefit the Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks & Recreation Foundation, supporting local parks and recreation programs and events. The Friends Foundation works closely with the City to provide funding for community projects, events, and activities that benefit residents and visitors alike. The beer garden will open at 10:00 AM.
