The annual Ice Fishing Derby attracts ice anglers from several states to Saratoga Lake hoping to make the catch of the day! Cash prizes will be awarded, including $2000 prize for the largest game fish caught during the derby and gift certificates for the largest fish caught each hour.  There will be more than $6,000 in guaranteed cash prizes and up to $35,000 in additional prizes possible. "Trophy Trout" have been added--catch one and it may be worth $20,000 or $10,000 or $5,000!

The weekend, always the third in January, includes a special Small Fry Derby for children under age 14. For more detailed information, see our Fishing Derby page!
