The RITA (Research Is The Answer) Foundation, Inc. is a Jacksonville based volunteer non- profit organization. Our mission is to raise awareness and money to help in the fight against all cancers, with emphasis on breast cancer. These may include clinical research, basic research, education, awareness, and patient related breast cancer programs. We will generate revenue through special fund raising events; donate all net proceeds as unrestricted grants; operate with no salary expense or overhead expenses. With your help, RITA events have raised well over $6 million dollars since inception. All funds will be donated to 501(c)(3) programs in the greater Jacksonville, Florida area.

The 5K fund raising event will be held in Nocatee, FL at the Nocatee Station Field near the swimming complex. The course is a single loop, primarily on safe, wide bike / cart paths. We will also hold a 1 mile fun run and a VIRTUAL event for our out of town friends. MEDALS will be given to the top 150 5K finishers as they cross the finish line on race day.

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners and in age groups 9 and under to 80 and over in ten year brackets.
