Celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the legendary TV series The Twilight Zone--and creator Rod Serling's Centennial—with a special Thursday evening double-feature screening, pairing Serling's favorite episode (1960’s “A Stop at Willoughby”) with the 1968 cult classic film The Swimmer, starring the equally-legendary Burt Lancaster, and adapted from a short story by the, yes, equally-legendary John Cheever (published in The New Yorker in 1964), that has thematic ties with “Willoughby”—or, as the copy on the back of the recent Blu-Ray release of The Swimmer described the film, “a feature-length Twilight Zone episode by way of The New Yorker”!
