Join us for the first ever Pennsylvania Chocolate and Coffee Festival September 28-29, 2024, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA

Bring your friends, family, and appetite for a delicious weekend shopping experience! The top coffee shops, coffee roasters, chocolatiers, gourmet food purveyors, and unique artisans from around the region will gather in Oaks, PA, for the Pennsylvania Chocolate and Coffee Festival. Come sip, taste, and enjoy this family friendly festival at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA!!

Schedule of Events:

2:00pm: Join Nico Silverman for an inside look at Mayan cacao culture! He will lead us through a virtual tour of Guatemala, sharing from his 12 years of collaboration with Tz'utujil cacao and fiber artisans. Learn more about cacao farming, chocolate making, and more! Bring a curious palate and questions!

2:00pm: Join chocolate sommelier Estelle Tracy as she dives into the world of taste. Gain insights into the reasons why your "yum" can be someone else's "yuck". You'll discover how smells, sights, and sounds impact our perception of taste along with the relationship between storytelling and memories with taste. Each attendee will receive 2 chocolate samples, along with a paper strip containing phenylthiocarbamide (PTC) to help identify super-tasters, individuals with heightened sensitivity to bitter compounds.
