The 4th Annual Morrilton Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony, sponsored by American Legion "Nathan G. Gordon" Post 39, Morrilton, will be held Saturday November 9, 2024. Staging at 10:00 AM in the Conway County Fairgrounds adjacent to the exhibit buildings. Parade begins promptly at 11:00 AM from City Park Drive, west on Broadway, north on Moose St, east on Elm St back into the fairgrounds, and will include the Conway JROTC Color Guard, MHS Marching Band, Local Scouts, Grand Marshall: Korean War U.S. Navy Veteran, MM1 Bradford May; Faith & Freedom Riders Equestrian Drill & Trick Riding Team, and more. The Ceremony featuring guest speaker, Captain (06) Jimmy Toal, U.S. Navy, will follow at 12:00 noon in the Nature Trail Pavilion off John Payne Drive.
