Spring Stroll: Why has so much happened at Blue Licks? You guessed it! The spring! Down through history, travelers have pilgrimed this area in search of the rich minerals provided by the Blue Licks spring. Join us for a moderate hike to the spring site to learn about how the presence of the spring has worked to create a unique cultural and natural history here at the park. Much of this hike will touch on the battle as it relates to the Licking River and the ancient buffalo path that the soldiers followed to the Blue Licks area. Please note that this hike could be considered strenuous by some. Hike is free! Meeting Point: Boat Ramp Parking Lot.
