Very few sequels arrive 35 plus years after the original. But then, very few sequels follow up on a film as just plain original as Beetlejuice, which combined the truly unique talents of director Tim Burton and actor Michael Keaton. Yet here at last, and against all likelihood, we have that sequel, which could only be titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and which reunites Burton and Keaton, along with Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara, in what promises to be fun fun. The portal to the Afterlife is accidentally reopened and Keaton’s mischievous demon is unleashed to wreak rather hilarious mayhem. What’s a demon for, anyway?
