Film Screening: “Playing the Changes: Tracking Darius Brubeck”

Playing the Changes is a documentary about the life of jazz pianist Darius Brubeck, the eldest son of legendary jazz musician Dave Brubeck. This story examines why and how jazz had a transformative role in different types of societies such as Poland and South Africa and tracks Darius Brubeck’s involvement in both. Join us at Prim Library on the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe campus for a special screening event and Q&A with Darius Brubeck in attendance. There is no cost for this event but advanced registration is required.
