Synopsis: Seven-year-old Manuela dreams of winning the "best folkloric dress" contest in the commemoration of Independence Day at her school. Meanwhile, her brother Gabo (16) takes the risk of protesting in the streets for the plebiscite that will put end to the dictatorship of Chile in 1988.

Sinopsis: Manuela, de siete anos, suena con ganar el concurso de "mejor traje folclorico" en la conmemoracion del Dia de la Independencia en su escuela. Mientras tanto, su hermano Gabo (16) se arriesga a protestar en las calles por el plebiscito que pondra fin a la dictadura de Chile en 1988.

The Women Directors showcase female-driven narratives and talent. This program includes the Mexican short film 52 Minutes and the Chilean feature film Outsider Girls, highlighting diverse and powerful stories directed by a couple of young Latin American women filmmakers.

Synopsis: It is an intimate and generational drama, told from the point of view of three female leads. Sinopsis: Es un drama intimo y generacional, contado desde el punto de vista de tres protagonistas femeninas.
