Mission:

Our mission at the Wabash County Sportsmen is to promote the outdoors and get the youth of Wabash County and the surrounding areas involved with it as well. After all, the traditions of our past cannot be passed on unless we teach the youth of today. At our Youth Days (which are held every year the weekend after Mother's Day in May), we provide the area's youth with a chance to fish, shoot BB guns, do some archery target shooting, and a variety of other fun activities. All the stations have volunteers that have years of experience in practicing their craft. We strive to teach the proper technique behind shooting a BB guns and the Bows, and identifying the target. The kids really seem to enjoy it, some of which might never have the chance to do some of the activities that we provide. This year's Youth Day brought out 150 kids!
