Mission Statement
We believe our schools should provide a safe and inviting environment in which:
Student opinions and class ideas are sought and respected and their differences and unique abilities are nurtured.
Each individual is encouraged to be well-rounded, striving to achieve academic, athletic, and artistic excellence, as well as developing a social conscience.
Students are encouraged to be life-long, self-motivated learners inside and outside of the classroom. They should be able to work, independently with confidence and also effectively in groups.
Each individual learns to make responsible decisions and to take responsibility for his/her decisions and actions.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in the school's activities and programs.
There is a mutual respect among parents, teachers, students, and community members. This respect is enhanced by the knowledge of each others positions, issues, desires and needs.
