Leesburg History:

The Town of Leesburg was incorporated in 1958. Leesburg's first Mayor was B.C. Lokey from 1958 to 1979, followed by Bobby Byram from 1979 to 1984, William E. Jones 1984 to 1992, Alfred Tillery 1992 to May 1996, Kellie N. Tillery May 1996 to October 1996, William E. Jones 1996 to October 2000, Edward Mackey October 2000 to the present time.

We have election for the Mayor and five Council Members every four years.
