HISTORY

In the spring of 2013, a group of local business owners set out to ascertain interest of having a local Chamber of Commerce within the community. Business owners were contacted and invited to a mixer at Fire & Ale on July 11, 2013 to discuss the formation of a chamber. Over 70 people were in attendance and the discussion went so well it expanded to what the future goals of a Chamber should be. The support of the business community was overwhelming and soon thereafter, the Sherman Area Chamber of Commerce was incorporated.
