The Divine Service each Lord’s Day is always a time of relief in the Lord where His peace and rest are delivered through the means of grace.

The Holy Spirit works ceaselessly, delivering Christ’s gifts to you each Lord’s day, even in the summertime. As we hear Christ’s word and receive Him in the Sacrament, we are given the eternal kingdom of His rest and peace in the forgiveness He won at Calvary and eternal life through our Baptism into His bodily resurrection from the grave. In Christ we have a true rest and joy in the summertime and always. As Dr. Luther said, "But with a man who belongs to an everlasting kingdom all is well and it is fitting that he should dance through life forevermore."
