Our mission at St. Joseph...

We the people of St. Joseph Parish, unite to form and establish the St. Joseph Parish Council in the Diocese of Joliet, because of the awareness of our Christian Faith through the Gospels on the life of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the proclamation of the Second Vatican Council. In order to involve all parishioners by sharing of work responsibilities in:


Promoting proper, orderly growth and development of the parish;
Providing a means of communication for all members of the parish;
Developing a truly Christian spirit;
Promoting love and understanding for all people;
Discovering and filling the needs of the parish and community;
Encourage apostolic initiative in all parishioners;
Supporting the mission of the Church in the world;
Supporting our Holy Father, the Pope, our Bishop, and our Clergy;
Enabling the Pastor and his staff to devote more time to the spiritual needs of the Parish.
