About:

Rolling Meadows High School is a public four-year high school that opened in 1971, and serves the villages of Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, and Rolling Meadows. Rolling Meadows is one of six schools in Township High School District 214, including Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, John Hersey, Prospect, and Wheeling High Schools. Rolling Meadows is proud to be a member of District 214. Our collective mission and vision include the offering of a comprehensive curriculum to support student learning and the ability to demonstrate the academic and life skills of analytic capabilities, ethical judgment and decision-making, problem solving, career and life planning, technological literacy, as well as concern, understanding, and respect in our culturally diverse schools.

Rolling Meadows promotes high quality academic and co-curricular programs to support student growth and school engagement. There are 26 AP courses to select from in our comprehensive Advanced Placement Program. We offer engineering and manufacturing courses as part of the Project Lead The Way program. In 2015-2016 we added the course of Geometry and Technical Construction to enhance the classroom application of math skills. We are also a part of the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) national elective program that supports students that are the first generation in their families to go on to college. In all of the academic areas, Rolling Meadows High School offers a rigorous and relevant core curriculum to help all students build the necessary skill sets to be successful in their future endeavors. We have a wonderful selection of courses in the areas of art, business, culinary foods, economics, engineering, graphic arts, history, literature, math, music, physical education, science, world language, writing, and more. Over 90% of students enroll in post-secondary educational courses at a technical school, junior college, or four year university.
