David and Nancy Brown have been farming in the Newberg/St Paul area since 1965. Their farm has been certified organic since 1991 with more than 80 acres certified now. A wide variety of veggies are available from the farm about 10 months of the year.

The Browns farmed for many years in Newberg between the Ford dealership and Yost’s Nursery – where Providence Newberg Medical Center now sits. Their present farm, located in St Paul. on the corner of French Prairie and McKay Roads, is just down the road from the place they first began farming.

They have worked with a variety of people over the last 30 years in the Community Garden. The Community Garden is for people who wish to pay a small membership fee and work in exchange for their produce.
