Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We are a congregation of 1,600 baptized members. We are a congregation committed to growth and Sharing Jesus' Love in our life together and in our neighboring communities. We do this through worship, education, ministries, and music.

Messiah is located on the southern edge of Wauconda, Illinois along U.S. Route 12 (Rand Rd.). Our church sits on 10 acres and encompasses a new, architecturally awarded sanctuary; nursery; greeting area as well as rooms and areas that existed prior to our 2004 expansion. There's a playground for the kids and a separate house (The Rock) for middle school to high school youth.
