About Us:

Mackeben Elementary School serves more than 500 students in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.

Named for two longtime residents of Huntley, Mackeben is one of eight schools comprising Huntley Community School District 158, which serves more than 9,700 students in the villages of Huntley, Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, and surrounding areas.

Elementary school buildings and programs are similar in design to maximize positive transitions and student movement.

The school office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All guests must check in at the office during student attendance hours. Children may enter the building at 8:20 a.m. and are dismissed at 3:25 p.m.

The Huntley Park District provides on site before and after school child care services. A hot lunch program is offered, for which parents can manage their accounts with online account viewing and payment.
