We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of all and proclaim Him as head of the church. We believe that the Scriptures are the inspired work of God.
As those who proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are committed to presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ, proclaiming Christ to be the head of the Church. Our mission is to preach and teach the love of Christ, while building up the Body of Christ, the family of faith. We believe that God's Word is central to what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ, and have made our focus center around two passages from the Book of Ephesians.
In Ephesians we find our challenge is to build up one another in faith, that "you may be strengthened in your inner being with power though His Spirit and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love to know the love of Christ that surpasses all knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." The second focus of our ministry is to build unity in the Body of Christ. In some Ephesians we read, "There is one body and one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all."
As a community of faith, we accomplish these goals by worshipping together, in praising God through song, in hearing the Word preached and read, in prayer and in the sacraments of Baptism and The Lord's Supper. Our commitment to Jesus Christ challenges each of us to grow in out faith, and we do that by making our Church School Program a priority, as well as studying the Bible together in groups. Sharing together around the Word of God not only helps us to grow spiritually, but in fellowship as well.
We are friends in church and out of church, who enjoy having fun together.
