Lakewoods is a private setting comprised of one building of 6 lakefront condominium homes, lakefront estate lots, lakefront cottage sites, and off-water cabin sites. Approximately three-quarters of the Lakewoods community will be protected in a "Forever Wild" never-to-be-developed classification; in other words, 75 of its 100 acres have been designated as a nature preserve-- land legally protected from development.
