Mssion Statement:
Greater St. James-Temple Institutional are a Holiness Pentecostal church that holds fast to the Holy Bible as God’s divinely inspired, inerrant, and infallible word. As you hear the preached word of God, may you come to know God in an extraordinary way and receive His love through His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is able to make the difference in your life. Receive His love and grace. Know that He cares for you. Stand on His promise to be with you always. Belief Statement:
WE believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of God.
We believe that there is ONE God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
WE believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
WE believe that the ONLY means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and believing the gospel according to Romans 10:9&10.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
WE believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
WE believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
WE believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world.
Founded in 1940, the Greater St. James Temple is a pentecostal holiness body where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached and the ordinances and doctrine of the CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST are properly taught and administered. Furthermore, our mission is developed through three main directives of the church:
1. The anointed PREACHING and TEACHING ministry in public worship and community involvement,
2. TRAINING Christian workers to be involve in the ministry through personal maturity and Christian Education.
3. MISSIONS and EVANGELISM to meet the needs of the whole man. Knowing Jesus Christ and making Him Known.
