Girls in grades K-12 are invited to become a Girl Scout, either as part of a troop or independently.  Girl Scouts offers lots of fun, opportunities to grow as an individual and develop leadership skills while making new friends, earning badges, camping and participating in many others types of activities.  New troops are formed every fall, but girls can also join year round. Wakefield's Girl Scouts is affiliated with Girl Scouts of USA.
